Jimmy Lancaster is one of the founders of Performance Check Productions, and the acting President of the non profit. Hailing from Ann Arbor Michigan, they traveled to Ohio Northern University to pursue a degree in their Musical Theater BFA program. After graduating they traveled the nation performing at many regional theaters and festivals, including the Crosswell Opera House and the L.A. Fringe Festival in 2024. Now that they are in New York City, they hope to bring their myriad of experiences to their work. Jimmy Lancaster helped found this organization in order to give actors new to the city more opportunities to perform, and they will be focused on making collaborative projects for the community and beyond.

Claudia Cromley is one of the founders of Performance Check Productions and the acting Artistic Director. Hailing from Ohio, Claudia worked for YiPEE, a non-profit company where she acted as Secretary, raising over $35,000 for other non-profits in the greater Toledo area. She got her BA from Cleveland State University and performed in Playhouse Square and with regional houses in the area. Continuing her life-long learning journey, she toured with Magical Theatre Company and preformed in the Chicago Premier of Marie Curie Horror Story, the brainchild of the incredible Holly Holsinger. With that show inspiring her to create new works and push artistic boundaries, she now is eager to create her own art and help others cultivate their own ideas in the New York Theatre scene.

Sarah Matlow is a New York-based actor and singer who thrives in any artistic opportunity. She graduated from ONU, earning her her BFA in Musical Theatre and also owns her own photography business on the side when she isn't working her corporate baddie job. She has always been deeply connected to non-profit work and creating her own heart and has been with Performance Check Productions since its conception in February of 2025 (our very first board member). She also helps with stage management and deputy work.

She is a proud wife and mother of two puppies when she isn't keeping logistics afloat. A creative mind with heart, she consistently brings new ideas to the table to grow Performance Check's rep!

Sawyer Whitted (he/him) is an Actor, Music Director, Singer-Songwriter, Matcha-Lover. With two Masters degrees in Music from West Chester University (M.Mus in Composition/Theory + M.Mus in Piano Performance), he has a deep passion for performing. He has both Off-Broadway and Regional credits and is currently in the process of writing an original musical. 

As a part of the Musician’s Union (Local 802) as well as the Actors Union (AEA), he has been invited to work on a plethora of new works in NYC - including being the MD for all Performance Check Productions! Moss Jones is a non-binary actor and improv artist from Portland, Oregon, with over two decades of performance experience. They hold dual BFAs in Musical Theatre and International Theatre Production from Ohio Northern University, and their original music has amassed over 20,000 streams worldwide. Moss's commitment to community extends well beyond the stage. They spearheaded a fundraiser supporting a family in Gaza, rallying local musicians and raising over $30,000. They are also a dedicated advocate for Ridgewood Rescue, a local cat rescue, that participates in TNR efforts, fostering, and adoption outreach.

As a non-binary performer, Moss is deeply aligned with The Performance Check's mission of amplifying underrepresented voices. Through performance, philanthropy, and advocacy, Moss embodies the belief that art and activism are most powerful when they walk hand in hand.

Karlo Siriban is a proud Filipino, first generation American and NYC native. He joins Roll for Performance’s board, bringing his acting and directing skills and credits, entertainment journalism background, and years of experience in strategic transformation, talent development and mentorship.

Karlo comes to the arts from a non-traditional path, having studied business in college, and after years in the corporate world, decided to start from square-one and pursue his artistic passions as an adult. As part of the board, Karlo aims to utilize his unique point of view to engender diversity in the arts (with an emphasis on BIPOC and age inclusive voices), and to assist developing talent on their journeys. You don’t need to roll a nat 20 to succeed!
